sling swivels

I have a number of Rossi Hartfords which I would like to put slings on but am having trouble figuring out which way to go. I haven't been able to find a forward magazine tube swivel that fits correctly, the one for my 45/70 marlin is to big and can't be tightened down. Am not sure if there is enough metal in the forearm end cap to attach a metal threaded sling stud.
Suggestions and options any of you have used would be appreciated. PS, I have both blue and stainless guns so if anyone knows where I could get magazine swivels in both configurations please speak up.

Measure the OD of the magazine tube or barrel upon which you wish to mount a swivel base.

Uncle Mike's makes them in several different sizes.

The QD-115-CFL Magnum Band fits diameters from .630 to .675".

The QD-115-M357 Magnum Band fits diameters from .540" to .590".

The QD-115-U22 Magnum Band fits diameters from .420" to .470".
