I know that some of youse guys just live and breathe Marlins and the pulse of the market I'm sure you have well in hand . So maybe you can help me figure this one out .

An older looking Marlin three three six action , chambered in forty-four remington magnum with a straight grip and no saddle ring . Bore is spotless outside looks ninety-five percent plus .

What is a carbine like that worth these days ?

Thanks , Jack

The 336-44 WITHOUT the saddle ring is actually worth a bit more then the saddle ringed version as they made less then 3,000 without the ring and a good bit more with rings .

I got a nice 336-44 a couple years with the ring for less then $400 and sold it a couple years later for almost $500 .

So I would say what you describe is in the $475-550 range .

If it's really really clean with no nicks scratches etc it might bring more then that !
