Back in the early 1970s there was a modification for the colt that replaced the thumb safety with a lever that would cock the hammer. It allowed carrying with the hammer down on a live round. It was as fast as a double action without the trigger creep. Does anyone have one , mine went missing and I would like to make another. Thanks
