Snake Story

I was headed down the road & I saw a ball of summtin wallerin in the road ,I stopped & it was a 4ft rattler someone ran over & broke it`s back apperently a 1/3 of the way from it`s head & could`nt grag the rest along !!

Anyways he was tryin to motor away but then he would stop & bite himself , I actually felt sorry for the rattler , but I still put em to sleep with 1 of my shotshells , it was on asphalt so I backed off to 10ft or so & let em have it !

Reminds me of my days in the US Forest Service when we used to go out after work and round some up. We would sometimes find a sizable nest of the critters. They are good eats.

I know a gentleman who always warned his grandkids about playing in the chicken pen at their cabin. One day he killed a rattler that had buried himself in the feed pan with only his head sticking out, waiting for prey (baby chicks) to come by.

Nice rattler. Obviously a very good shotshell. Way to go. Do you use the Speer plastic or do you use cardboard for your shotshells?

I use 357 max formed to fit in the 357mag chamber , in the GP it`s a full cyl length shotshell !!

They hold 2 times the shot that a capsule holds !!!!
