View Full Version : Emf 92 44wcf ?

I have a new EMF 92 in 44WCF on the way and hope to get an idea of what to expect. I assume use the same barrels that come on their 44 Mag rifles. Is this your experience with the 44WCF barrels. I have noticed that Seaco has a .429 mold that is the correct weight to duplicate factory ammo and it is the round flat nose profile like the .427 mold they list for the 44WCF. Has any one used this mold or what have you been happy with in your 44WCF rifle?
Thanks for any ideas to get started.

Before you spend the big bucks on a SAECO Mold, you better slug your barrel. I suspect that the EMF(Rossi) barrel is the .429 that you mention. However some are not. Best to make sure. Make sure you buy a mold that puts out the FN bullets rather than RN to prevent recoil detonation.

hey steve.I have a navy arms 92 44 wcf (rossi) and it shoots .429 bullets and is very accurate with them.I use the magma mould 200 gr lfn and it has the crimp groove in the right place:-D .the best thing with the 92's is you can use level II loads and they make a fine deer rifle.
after I bought the NA's 92 I sold off my marlin 94 44 mag with the micro-junk barrel.

Well now Pete once again I have to clean the drool from around the keys on this here keyboard. I have said it once and will say it again thats a great looking Rossi. I have one from EMF with CCH reciever but not that bright of color. Beautiful c@r56bi**ne@[smilie=f: ********* Uh oh, the keyboard is shortin out again!:-D
