Got to get in a bit of range time before the rains hit. Put away the Lil Gun and pulled out the H4227 (no go), but the keg of Wc680 seemed to shine a bit today. Might do better with better bench technique as I only had the fore-end resting on the sandbags.
Everything was at 100yds. All groups were with 23.7gr Wc680, WW's plus about 1% tin added. LBT blue soft lube and sized @ 0.360"
Group on left was the GB 358627 crimped in the second groove, some verticle stringing may be my bench technique
Group on upper right was the GB 360-180 FP. Velocity should be near 2200fps
Group on lower right was a 230gr MM boolit that looks alot like the 311041 boolit. Last shot was the flyer, I may have been in a hurry to get the shot off. Velocity right at 1900fps.
I was using the Wolf SR primer for 223 rounds. Will try again with Rem 7.5's to see if there is any difference.
I think any of these boolits would make a good whitetail load, but especially the 180FP or the 358627 clone!
