Yep, thats what I am interested in knowing. Can I drill out a few 303 brass cases to accept the 209 primer and shoot light HBWCs? Would it be better to use regular primers and a small charge of say, TrailBoss? Looking for a very light gallery load that can be shot without the neighbors knowing.

Got quite a few 32 cal bullets from other projects and I do not think they would be too big for the 303 barrel. Any opinions?

You could say I have too much time on my hands, or just too many rifles at hand.

Just use a pistol primer.

Rather than go to all that trouble just use 2.5-3.0 grs. of Bullseye (no wad or filler) and reg. primer.Thats what I use in my 30-06 but with a heavier boolit(160 gr.).You maybe able to go lighter say 2.0 with the smaller case and the lighter boolit. Very quiet and good accuracy out to 50 yds or so
