HI, will this lee mold be o.k for my pre 64 win 94?.
my barrel slugs to .308.5 ,if this mold drops the bullets at oh say .312 can i get a sizer that will go down to .310 ?,if not what would yall suggest for my winny 30-30?thanks for your time .

This mold should be good for any 30-30. Sizing it down to .310 or .311 by any sizing tool will be easy. I size my 30 caliber boolits to .311 for both 308 and 30-30. I use a lyman sizing tool, but RCBS, Lee and others make sizing tools also. With a barrel that measures .3085 either .310 or .311 or even unsized at .312 should work very well. I use my sizing tool more to apply lube and gas checks than to reduce the size of the boolit. Other good boolits would be Lyman 311041, Lyman 311291, RCBS 30-180-FN, and RCBS 30-150-FN.

i,ll probably get the mold and a .311 sizer just to crimp the gas check on i use lla on my 45.70,s and my 8mm mausers. have a great night .

It should work fine, but mine weigh 160gr with GC. I don't have a Win 94, but shoot them through a Marlin 336CB and Savage 99 Carbine. Mine cast right at .311".

I've reloaded them in a friend's '94 with 7 - 9 gr of Unique and had good results at 100yds. A lee sizer either .309 or .311 should do the job for you.

My favorite boolit. Mine casts .312 with range scrap alloy and I size to .311. Even BHN 18 water dropped boolits size easily. I suspect that .310 would be just a simple.

Mine drops 309-310" boolits with ACWW+2%Sn, that's casting hot mould/cool melt to get them as big as possible. Should still be fine in the Winny. Shoot them and see.
