Been thinking of swaging bullets for my sks. My thoughts and maybe you all can let me know if I am on the right track or if there is a better way.
9mm Case, draw down to .308 diameter through a .308 sizer die or a .309, then core seat and swage up to .311 diameter....
Think this is possible??
Thanks

I imagine it can be done, but you are going to have to anneal the cases at least twice during this process. I would also go through a two or thee step process so you don't put undue stress on your press.
At the speed a 7.62x39 shoots, gas checked cast boolits work very well for me.16.5 gr 2400 and a 150 gr gc cast function and shoot very well in both sks and ak.

What I would do... 5.7x28 brass and CH 308 dies. Lap the swage die slowly till it spits out .311 bullets. Good to go!
