what other uses do use reloading equipment for?
the top of the nice red round lee "boxes" that come with the dies make great cups!
Some will say boat anchors when things don't work properly and others will say that reloading equipment can be used as a form therapy. :D

I can't think of a single thing. I used to cast sinkers and jigs with my boolit furnace, does that count?

Swaging, making gas checks, boolit sizing/seating GCs...can't think of anything else beyond this that a press could possibly be used for.

And hickory nuts. Those are really tough so you need an OLD press.......

I use my RCBS Rock Chucker ram, minus the shellholder, to crush berdan brass or unloadable brass at the case neck.Robert

The guy that used to own my house/acreage was an industrial duty "seamstress" of sorts. He had 2 old angled type pacific (I think) presses set up with custom dies/rams for seating and crimping grommets/buttons in canvas/tarps. During the estate auction they sold for far more than I would pay for an old press with a custom ram and die that served me no handloading purpose. I am sure the new owner of all them tools and HD sewing machines saw it differently judging by the $$ he spent that day. He spent almost as much as I did and I got a delapidated old house, pole barn and 23 acres.
