Good morning,

I went to reload some cast boolits using the Lyman 32359 8mm mold I recently picked up. It's a three groove, plain base 120g boolit. My Lyman manual denotes it as a gas checked design, despite it being plain base. Do I need to g/c this boolit or will I be good without one? Thanks for the help.

This shows it as being a plain base, too: http://www.three-peaks.net/bullet_molds.htm

Can't help, otherwise.

Thanks for looking into it, 462. I answered my own (air brain) question.

Turns out, there's a typo in the Lyman manual for that boolit my tired mind didn't recognize last night. All G/C boolits are denoted with *Gas check and then another asterisk next to the boolit. On the 8x57 JS page, the asterisk next to Gas checks is missing, thereby confusing my brain last night.

A good reason to double check everything. ;)
