Ruger #1A .303 Br. info

Got another E-Mail from Ruger on the .303 Br. #1A version. I had asked what the bore dia. was they were using, the reply was .303 dia. I also asked the rate of twist, the reply was 1 in 10. I asked if they might chamber this cartridge in their #1B, the answer was not at this time. Robert

OK--if BORE is set at .303", I would bet folding money the grooves will run at least .311". Still, I would slug and pin-gage like always. And slug the throat as well.

I posed the question to them, "Is the bore a true .303? That is, is it an .311 or .312" bore dia.? That .303 dia. is the answer I got.Robert
