Here is the rusult of resizing the boolit. They come out at .4615" and then I run them through a .460" size die, (a .458" die that I honed out to .460"),in the Star machine

This worked so well, far beyond my expectations, that I grabbed some of the Lee 450-350 GB and after readjusting the die for the length difference, I slipped a gas check on it and squashed it. The result below, the checks are very tight and perfectly flat.

I am very pleased with it so far, now just have to load some and shoot em to find out how happy I will be.

dragonrider I don't see why they wouldn't shoot, from the looks of the pictures they are good looking and well formed slugs.

..............Doing stuff like that is what makes this whole cast boolit thing so interesting. Good thinking! The results will be interesting to hear about.

next thing we'll hear is he doesn't even heat up that old lead pot! just squeezes his bullets from uncooked wheel weights!
