HI,
QUESTION 2:
IF ONE COULD NOT AFFORD TO BUY A NEW MOLD, unemployed since end of may.
And wanted to increase the medplat of a 357 mold to .30, and the medplat of a 44 mold to .33 what would be the best way to do it.
I want to use these for hunting. Just had 5:shock:th dose of sticker shock on j-bullets.

I don't think I would mess with the molds.

Instead I think I'd play with alloy content. I believe your looking for more meplat to increase knock down power? Making the alloy softer will give you some expansion which should be more that the planned meplat modification.

For practise use your standard alloy, for hunting go to the soft stuff because the reality is your only going to shoot one or two so, fitted right and lubed correctly, leading should not be a problem.

Bear in mind these are only guess's as I have no idea of the gun's or mold design's your using.

HI,
Guns are a matched set of Ruger Redhawks, both like loads on the max./hot , to get best accuracy. I use unique,WC 820,&2400. My brother Carl accuses me of shooting 41 mag. in the 357.:Fire::Fire:

Boom Boom,

Are you out of a job permanantly or just for the summer until school starts again?

HI,
Lost my job teaching H.S. math up in Blackfoot. Idaho & the school districts are in a financial emergency, so last hired 1st fired R.I.F. type situation.
I have 2 job interviews this week for science teacher slots in 2 different towns here in Utah.
Have applied all over Utah, & been to more than a dozen interviews, applied to all southern Idaho school districts & been to 1 interview, applied to 6 S.W. Wyoming school districts.
Applied for over 20 Utah state jobs, got a few interviews.
There are a lot of folks out hunting jobs in the same situation as me. [smilie=b:
