Figs are ripe

My wife picked about a gallon day before yesterday off our neighbor's very prolific fig tree. The neighbor must have picked half a gallon more today and brought them over, then I went and got another quart or two the short gals couldn't reach.

They are cooking down for preserves right now..... Good thing, we were down to two jars from last year.

Lucky you. Mine are starting to ripen, but the grasshoppers are eating them as fast as they ripen.

Same here Figs and peaches are Ripe.Picked several Gallons of Fig's.We are going to make Fig Preserves today.I need to pick a Wheelbarrow full of Peaches tomorrow and Can them also.Mike
