311332 modification??

Have any of you ever machined out the the gas check portion of the 311332 mold to make it a Plain Base bullet. The idea popped into my head today and I wondered if any of you have done it and what the accuracy results were.

I think it's been done plenty of times on plenty of moulds, I think Erik the HP guy offers this as a service.... on the 311332 specifically, I will stand back and wait for others to reply.
