I looked all thru the Wolfe info on 32-20 in Load Data and really can't find much past a 115-118 grain boolit in any of the loads. I have been thinking about using the 122 gr boolits I've got with this data and dropping the charge some. I have all three Paco"levels" of 32-20 so was looking for some loads at the original'92 Winchester level and then some other loads in the new made Marlin 94's strength level. Not looking to try to overload the things, just a nice load that gives maybe 1400 to 1500 fps maybe. Any ideas out there?

Use any data you find for the 311316/311359 and start there. My 316's that are supposed to weigh in around 115 gr go more like 118-120. I've taken them up near 1700 fps in a bolt rifle. That's way too hot for small game with that FN.

Check the numbers, but IIRC 10.0 gr 2400 in a rifle should get you into the range you seek.

Thanks Bret, I had planned on trying to find something that's a little slower for tree squirrels but nice to be able to smack a few ground squirrels.

Good morning
I have an old IDEAL mold that drops a one grease groove boolit RN from 50-50 right at 118 grains. I used it for years in my 32-20 1873 26" barrel to shoot ground hogs up close in the head.
I have used from 4-5 grains Unique extensivly with the bulk of the loads at 4.5 grains. Nice quiet load.
The rifle has not exibited any more looseness than it had when I fist got it. Si I would think a 92 would easily stand up to these mild loads. I never crono this load but would expect 5 grains + shood be right in that ball park you are looking. I will say 4.5 grains will make a mess of a ground hog head out to 50 yards.... never recovered any boolits and the dirt diggers do some awsome 180 degree rotations on impact. Never had one walk away.
Through the shoulders will roll them over but I have always used a follow up shot to end matters.

For tree squirrels the 311359 may be the ticket. I can tell you conclusively that the FP boolits at 1400FPS will cut a large grey in half and completely remove the head. That's a bit too much of a good thing.

OK then, I have an old 311359 kicking around that I could load up single shot or even a 2-shot. I have shot grey squirrels with a .30 carbine bullet out of a .30-06 but that's not the flat nose.

I think I have close to the same mould. It makes a boolit that looks a little like a bell with a groove near the bottom. Only mine is a flat point. It only makes one at a time but not sticky at all so I have a couple hundred made up and will give those a try.

I would think that 4.5 grains ought to be slow enough. I'll try that with the RCBS 32-98 also with some filler so I can seat it over the top band.
