Is it safe to use a Lee perfect powder measure for black powder ?Just found this article after posting the question.

I did the same thing with a crank telephoone generator after Doc Carlson told me that static would not set off B/P unless it was powdered to dust and suspended in air. Suspended dust of all kinds will combust and flour mills blow up as often as powder mills. I have used a Lee for B/P for about 10 years with no problem.

I have used my Lyman and Redding measures and plastic funnels forever with black powder. It takes fire or high heat to light the stuff off.
