Hello again;

Since I am new here and my only other posting has been on the subject of airgun pellets, I just wanted to ask a question about one of my other low recoil, easy to shoot guns. Actually it is my 5'4" wife's favorite gun.

Naturally I am talking about the CZ 550 Safari in 450 Rigby Magnum. :holysheep

Seriously, can anyone suggest a gas check cast bullet design with a very large flat melplat at 500 + grain weight in wheel weight alloy? As cast diameter should be about 0.458 - 0.460 inches.

Kind regards,

Mike B

Take a look at the Lee C-457-500 Gas checked 500 grain, as flat a nose as they come. I just got one to load into my .458 Lott in a Ruger #1. Havn't cast any yet, Only got the mold 2 days ago.

I just cast up a few of the Lee 500 grainers, They are running .462 diam. and weigh 499 gr. unlubed and un checked. Havn't loaded any yet.
