After looking an looking, I went to Sprouts today with the wife and found it in the bulk spice drawers. It was on sale for 5.88/lb, which is semi reasonable since the only other store that had it was a vitamin store and wanted for than that for 6 ounces of the stuff.

I'm new here... What's that used for?
See the sticky at the top of the shooters.com section. A hot solution of citric acid can be used to clean brass.

I've got citric acid and acid blend - just never thought about using it for cleaning my brass.

Why not use lemon juice? I believe it contains citric acid.

yarro, there is a home brew supply store on Burnet rd between Anderson lane and Steck. I would check them out for you but I am a hundred and sixty miles away at the moment.

Go to Walmart and get Lemishine in the food area, dishwashing detergent section. It is a citric acid powder that does the job. It is intended for cleaning lime scale off dishes and the inside of the dishwasher.
