4 lbs 12 oz, 3" dia.
Can't remember what malady she had, they wanted her to exercise her neck with this thing.
She says it better not disappear, although she never uses it any more.
It's pretty soft, thumbnail makes a scratch.
Maybe I'll hide it for a while, see if she notices...

If she does miss it, and you have melted it down, YOU may be the one that needs it. LOL

That goes in the pot, to be replaced with a cinder block. :)

Melt that ball and replace it with...
My Marlin 1894 is about 5 lbs.
therapy wouldn't be so boring if you were packin' a lever-action:idea:

Yeah, my neck gets sore thinkin about it. We do have regular disc type weights (no dumbell jokes please),
maybe I could rig a t-connector and trade her.

Melt it down. That looks like uncoated lead. Can't be healthy for her to be handling that thing all the time. She might get lead poisoning. Better to save her from the possibility. Get some baling wire and a rock to replace it. Much much safer for her. That leaves you to properly dispose of the lead for her.

Great ideas, thanks, she's warming up to the idea.
I got a bunch of WWs last week so might save the ball for emergency casting.
She does like rocks though, does some lapidary and makes jewelry.
A nice looking rock with a baling wire "wire-wrap" job might do the trick!

Ugh, she just said "you could dip it in paint for me".

Painting rocks. Where have I done that before?

Ugh, she just said "you could dip it in paint for me".

Will she be able to tell the difference between a lead ball dipped in paint and a zinc ball dipped in paint?!

I would see that comment as a blessing, you have been given premission to cover up the crime of stealing Her workout ball! Even better the lead would be going to a worthy cause.

Wrap the rock in some shiny copper wire and she'll love it.

Great ideas, thanks! The rock could double as a pendant if I do a good job with the wire,
could give it to her for her birthday. I know, a 5 lb pendant? But she's maybe large enough.

Replacing it with a painted zinc ball might be the ticket. Trouble is I haven't got 5 lbs of zinc yet,
doesn't seem to be that much in the WW supply around here. Guess that's a good thing.
Also it would be lighter.
And where would I get a 3-inch RB mold?

Tell her she is getting stronger...

Could you make your own mold with casting sand and the orriginal lead ball? I remember in High School doing a little bit of casting with aluminum but I don't remember much.

Quietly replace the lead ball with these! She'll stop ******** about everything, and you will have peace of mind.

I saw a pair of Bulls Balls on a Dodge truck this week. To each his own. I guess that's the only way a Dodge could have a pair.
