I come there 2 times a year. Just got back from a week at Folly. Will be back around Christmas. Care to share a cup of coffee when I am there?

I'm not too far south, in Bluffton. Charleston is about an hour and a half. I'd enjoy getting together some time.

I visit S.C several times a year, have a daughter and son-in-law in Laurens. We do not got to Charleston in July/Aug. Equator weather, whew
My favorite restaraunt in the world is in Charleston "The Blossom" most unbelievable crab cakes and cole slaw.
If I could not live in Wyoming it would be S.C.

We had a Heat index of 126* yesterday afternoon, just before the torrential downpour. Yes summer in SC can be fun.

Kentucky is as far as I have been.
Met plenty of really nice people there. Good old southern hospitality!
I had just got into CAS when we had our pistols confiscated, still miss it,itwas a hoot!

Hey Sam, I did a Southern weather test yesterday. It is how I know that the best thing to do is stay inside. You preheat the oven to 250-300 degrees. You go out on the porch and sit for a few minutes(FRONT OR BACK) You then go back into the house and put your head in the oven and if you can't tell the difference it is the weather that you stay inside with the AC on Hang Meat setting!!

Know what you mean, I cooked a TV dinner on the porch yesterday afternoon and picked some stewed squash of the plant.:kidding: but not much.[smilie=b:

Wish I had known of this site when I lived in SC. I was on County line rd in Ravenel. I miss having my own range in the back yard.

That was pretty close, They are coming to thin my trees in a week or two and am hoping to set up a range to stretch out my 1885 a bit.
