when ur ladle casting using one of the ladles that hold 1LB of lead and ur holding the mold over the pot (lee 20 lb) and you forget to put the pin in, it takes a LONG TIME to fill the mold w/lead!! :oops:

Not to mention the poor HP formation.
It is even worse when the pin falls into the pot !
Those LYMAN handles make good flux it turns out ! :)

These two statements really made me chuckle...................I'm not the only one that pulls a brain fart every once in a while.
Just another reason to utilize a bottom pour furnace!
