Either should be fine, I'd use the carnuba red if I were purchasing it new but since you have both why not experiment with both and see which works better for you.

Load up 10 of each and see which one works best in your gun. I think I'd go with Carnuba Red just from it's reputation (I use it on my .44 Magfun heavy loads).

OK Carnauba it is

Ha, you had me going! I thought you meant 'Witch' lube, as in black magic mojo, and that applies to just about any lube concoction.

I'll second Carnauba Red as a first try, but I don't shoot in temps below 40 F so others would know better than me about that.

Larsen's 2500+ and B.A.C. are my go too lubes. My buddy swears by Carnauba Red.

I've shot both, both wrok well, but I like the CR better. It isn't quite as sticky during the reloading process.

After many years of testing numerous lubes from 300 fps to 2600+ fps I keep going back to the NRA 50/50 formula lubes. My preferences are;

Javelina & Lar's 2500+

I have also used Carnauba Red and it works or it doesn't work. Only way to know is to test. Suggest only put 1/4 or so of a tube in the lubrasizer for initial test. It is easier to clean out the smaller amount if it doesn't work.

Also if your loading room gets on the cool side a lubrasizer heater is needed with the Carnauba Red but not with the Javelina or 2500+.

All White Label lubes work for me in my rifles but I tend to go to 2500, it always delivers and doesn't need heat like Car Red does in cool weather.

Either will probably work fine, however, if you plan on more than 2000 fps then a 50-50 mix of the Carnuba Red & 50/50 Alox bees wax is very good (basically LARS BAC lube) or just straight Carnuba Red. I run BAC or the mix so I can lube rifle and pistol from the same lubricator.
