I just ordered a Lyman 44 cal. devestator h.p. I've been using the Lee 310 gc. with great results. Any of you folks have one? Loads for a Ruger SRH?

Friend,
All the Devastator molds are pretty good molds. Here's the problem you're going to experience.
The HP pin has to stay as hot as the mold to work perfectly. I cranked up the pot to 800 degrees to keep things rolling. Depending on your alloy, you should do fine as long as you don't mind using a single cavity mold. 1 at a time sure is slow.
I've progressed to a couple double cavity HP molds, in fact, in 3 calibers. I found that using MiHa's molds (www.mp-molds.com) are superb and produce commercial quality bullets. Read everything you can on this web site; you'll be surprised what you'll learn from the group of guys (no offense ladies) who have done enough T&E to solve most casting problems. Good luck.
BTW, the Devastator bullets do expand.
