I had a run of molds made according to this drawing:

http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=6064&highlight=NuJudge

I was trying to get as close to a 314299 as I could get in the Lee 6-cavity mold blocks, and intending this for oversize .303 and 7.62x54 rifles (mine don't like flat tips on bullets). Early reports from people who'd expressed interest is that they are casting bullets in the .317" body & .306" nose, and weigh about 190 grains. Here is one report:

http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=8472

I have about 15 that are not spoken for. $56 each. PM me for my address.

I'm not sure. I've been looking at my mold and wondering that. I still have not had a chance to cast any.

Maybe I'll have a chance Sunday afternoon.

If the nose is the same as 314299, then a #467 top punch is correct.
same a 311467.

I cast up a small pile of these out of wheelweight + 1/2% tin on Tuesday, the 29th. Had to let things settle for a few days as sometimes my wheelweight alloy will have a tendency to "grow" overnight and the few days after a casting session. Results are:

.318" to .319" bands

.306" to .307" noses

**some slight out of roundness produced from a couple of the cavities, but nothing that the sizer die won't clean right up.

Weight is running 195 to 197 grains before lube and gas check.

To say I'm very happy with this mold would be an understatement. As far as I'm concerned this group buy went off very well. Thanks Judge!

I'm out of these molds, or really close to it. I need to stop taking orders for a couple of days to make sure I don't run short, or end up without one for myself!

Thanks NuJudge....There are no restrictions on molds being shipped from the U.S. to Canada.....As far as customs goes sometimes they charge taxes and sometimes they don't.....Got to thinking it may not be a good idea to drive across the border and mail them as customs may charge you GST & PST.....

Things kept screwing up my ability to go across to Canada and mail them there, so I mailed them in the US. My first attempt in the US, they didn't like the Lee boxes, and gave me ordinary Priority Mail boxes. I reboxed and me second attempt they didn't like the ordinary Priority Mail boxes, and gave me INTERNATIONAL Priority Mail boxes. I re boxed again, and they couldn't get the meter to spit out the right value. After 45 minutes they finally put ordinary stamps on them.
