Hello all, I finally had the chance to go to the range today and try out the .358" 158gr LRN loads that I made up in my BHP. They worked GREAT! Very accurate and NO leading! :p I shot 50 rounds and had no leading problems at all. The info came out of a Lyman #45 book showing 3.0grns of BE as the "accuracy load". This is Lee's tumble-lube style bullet using ALOX lube.(which you can smell when shot) It was a bit of trial & error to find a seating depth that allowed the cartridge to chamber without bulging the case too much in the middle but it was worth the effort.

I know that HP's have a reputation for not liking lead bullets because of thier fast twist & slightly oversized bore.
I hope this bit of info helps anyone who might want to cast and load their own for the BHP.
