Buckshot has suggested making one on my own out of keystock. My fabrication skills preclude that possiblity. I could have it d&t'ed, but I would still have problems clearing the scope. I looked at the S&K scope mounts, but none of the pictures seem to be what I need. Any suggestions?

Included are pics of the rear sight.

Mark, Chris at Ottawa made one for a similar rifle. He made it out of a flat-bottomed Weaver mount. Milled a little here and there (you could file if you were careful) to clear the projections on the sight base and screwed it down. Looks like there is already one D&Ted hole.

I think I have came to the same conclusion. I could take it over to Wichita Arms and have them do it, or I could run up to Great Bend and have Stan Hannigan do the work. Last possiblity would be to get our local IBM rep to fire up the little cnc mill they have in their office and have him cut it for me. I have it modelled fairly closely in our cad system and should be able to get with the manufacturing guys to get the nc program.
