"Test checks made with the FREECHEX ™ III 50 were .501-2 with .458 mandrel. test material was .011 half hard brass, and .014 aluminum with a 1/2 ton HF press."

.50A&E/S&W etc.

Already sold on eBay! Didn't last long.

I am the one that scored that FreeChex III for the .500 S&W! I had some dialog with Charlie, and he told me that he would put one in for me. I refreshed my screen until it came up, and then jumped on it.

I don't even have the gun to shoot them in yet, but KNOW that getting tools (especially the molds) early is the key to not having to buy bullets.

I'll make checks available from it as soon as it comes in.

Makes me wonder what a gas checked 12 ga slug would do?

Yup, I was emailing back and forth with Charlie about a freechx for my 50. He even asked me to make sure what size I needed. I left for the weekend, and it was posted and sold before I even had a chance[smilie=b:

We need to talk him into making some more.....

If anyone needs checks in this size, let me know. We can work something out, I am sure.

I have material, but no gun to go with it yet, so I have some time available to make chex.

What bullet die (mold) are you using?

Charlie strikes again!

This tool is amazing, I have one in .30 cal and it is boringly easy and fast to make checks with.
As soon as I can afford to, my other FCII tools will be replaced with new FCIII's and no, I won't be considering any other maker's tool's, Charlie's is the only way to go.

You will not be dissapointed in you're decision to buy these.

I think the war is on between you and me, providing you were the one who just placed a min bid vote and got outbid by me today....

( don't worry I'm not too anxious to get one, the demand for these is rather low )

I wish he'd do a run of .45, buying GC for my .45-70 is getting crazy expensive, when they're available. The Freechex II or III would make my life so much simpler. He said he'd do a run if I could drum up 20 or 25 orders via a group buy. I wonder if there is anyone else in the same boat so that we could talk to the guys running group buys/board about testing the waters?

I'd like to try the FreeChex system, but don't want to try eBay. Any chance he'll ever start selling the things here or on an actual pro-gun auction site like GunBroker?

My understanding is that he is only planning on selling through ebay....
