Just got this from the BPCR site.

Many of us have had dealings with Dick, and many others have known him personally.

He's done a lot of good work for our sport. He will be missed greatly.

I really hate to hear that. I had corresponded with Dick on occasion and even bought a spotting scope from him (which I still have).

He was a FINE gentleman...

Rest in peace, my friend.

I did not know the gentleman but he sounded like a fine one. RIP Dick.

hmmm...when I read the title I had thought he passed a couple of years back, but then realized THAT was Richard Gunn. We lose yet another...

I had the pleasure of speaking with hime a couple of times. I have a 45/70 Navy Arms that I wanted to upgrade the sights on. I emailed Pedersoli with my questions.
A couple of days later, I got a phone call from him and we talked at length about what I wanted out of the rifle. He told me parts I needed and put me on to other websites about BPCR.
The sights worked fine and improved my ability to use the rifle.
RIP Dick, alot of knowledge just left the planet.
