Need 45-110 loads

Help!! I have just purchased a new 1874 Pedersoli in 45-110 cal. and will be useing 405 gr. gas checked boolits. But don't want to use black powder. I need some smokeless load data.Help me obi-wans your my only hope!!! Thanks

I can't help you with the powder charge, but I will bet you will need to go to a heavier bullet to get it to shoot well.

COTW 7th Ed. 24 grs IMR 4198, Lyman #451112 485grs, 1300fps.

Accurate Arms 5744 is a good powder for this. Look up 45-70 data for the bullet you want and start there. The Lyman 500 gr. government bullet works well in this cartridge. Load it to about 1200 fps, and you should have an accurate, fun load.
