I have some PMC 762 x 39, and would like to know what the spherical ball powder is that they use?

It seems like an anaemic load in my AIA Mk10A2 bolt gun. In the past I have resorted to pulling the bullet and using my own ADI 2207 @25gn for a better result.

Any ideas ?

chrispy,

Where are you located in the World? AIA has been promising those 7.62x39 Enfields in the States for several years and I haven't seen them yet.

I'm assuming Australia since you mention using ADI powder as a replacement for the PMC powder load.

Yes, Queensland Australia.

Not many of them were actually produced it seems. The 308 version took off, and they shelved production of the A2 and 223 version to concentrate on the 308.

I see Special Interest Arms do a good looking 7.62 x 39 conversion.
