Hi All,

Here's something neat I ran across. If I didn't already cut firewood, I don't know that I would go out and buy the tools necessary to do this, but since I do, I can see using the 2" or so limbs I usually pile up and burn for the charcoal, and the slivers and bark from my splitter for fuel:

Geez, a LOT of work. However, if you live on an acreage in the country, with a supply of hardwood and brush to fuel the process, it is a different story completely.

For me though, $5.40 a 20# bag from Wal-Mart is the way to go. I BBQ A LOT!!

If I ever get any free time I may try it. I get lots of odd length pieces of wood left over from splitting firewood. Ill have to throw them in a pile to let them dry until I ever find that time Ive been looking for.

Shiloh I think the only work would be the initial set up and building of the pipe. Once you get it lit and burning you just walk away and let it do its thing.
