If anyone has the correct screw (like new) for the above pistol I would really appreciate that you PM me with the particulars.
I emailed Ruger but did not receive a response.
Hitting ground hogs is really tough without a front sight !

I don't have a Ruger Mark 1 but I assume it to be a # 6x48 which would be the same as some scope mount screws.

I have a 22/45 and lost my sight screw also, but it is not a 6X48, as I had one in a spare parts box, and it did not fit. I ended up putting a Red Dot on the pistol. My gunsmith said he could get me a screw, but I never replaced it.

Back to ground "0"!
I just called Ruger and they said they would send me one out today, Free of Charge.
BTW it is a 6-40 Fillister head screw. Part # XR07600.

I'd definitely recommend putting a drop of Blue Loctite on that screw before installing. Those front sight screws are notorious for coming out.
