I found 3 of these a while back in one of my favorite arrowhead hunting areas (Legal in My State). Old Indian campsite, could have been used by anyone I suppose.
I apologize for the shoddy photos, but the telephone camera is all I have available. I cant find anything like it in my books.
This slug is the best if the three. Appears to be six lands engraved on it. Has a couple of lube grooves or crimping groves, much like on lead 22LR ammo.

It measures anywhere from .309 in one spot to .301 in most the rest. She is pretty battered up. Weighs 78 gr

The base is a bit concave like a 22lr as well. Somekind of heeled bullet ?

Picked up all three in about a 4 foot circle along with a pair of broken pedernales points.
I have picked up a handfull of live 32 colts and colt Longs on this property as well as one 44 colt casing.
Thanks,
Chaos
