Hi everybody I'm interested in getting into swaging and I think I get the most of it. I just have two questions
A. Is there a one step die for swaging 45 Colt bullets?
and
B. What's the price of Corbin's .224 bullet making kit(the one where you make the 22 lr cases)?

OK. The C&H dies sell a 1 step foe the 105 series. It's a SWC and there are no other options. It's about $100 I think. Not bad considering.

Now to the Corbin stuff.

Top quality and you pay for it. A 22RF Kit for a RCBS Rock Chucker is around $800.

I got the CSP-2 press and the H -dies so I am over $2K into it but I want to move on to 30 caliber and up too though for rifles. I am making 22 JHP from RF brass. It's great. The possibilities with one set of dies in nearly endless.

P.S. How would I make the half jacket for the bullet and could I use cast boolits as cores?

Could I just use a certain type of brass like the .40 S&W or something similar?
