I got a model 12 a while back that had a variable choke on it.

I recently took the choke off as it was soldered one I had to heat it to remove it and then cut the barrel a little bit to remove the section that was turned to install the choke. Then I got out my crowning tool that I make years ago and used only once so now it has been used twice. The big one in the pic.

Placed it into the barrel and twisted for a few minutes

and the results are good.

Now one day I will start on refinishing.
