I am looking at a Marlin 1894 Century Limited in 44-40. Made in 1994. I am wondering if it has micro groove or ballard rifling?

I ran into some recent manufacture pistols that are chambered in 44-40 but use 44 mag barrels (cheaper for the manufacturer I suppose) they slug .430 and have a twist rate of 44 mag and do not work as well with 200 gr bullets . I am hoping that Marlin did not go this route with their rifles, but I have heard that at least some of the late manufacture 44-40's had micro groove , This got me wondering. I hope some of you out there can shed some light on this

Thanks

My 1894D Limited is Balllard rifling. I believe the Century Limited is the same.

Just my guess,
