Hello,

I am looking for a 125gr. trunicated cone 38/357 .357 or .358 mold.
Looking for either a 2 or 6 cavity mold..

If anyone has one they are looking to get rid of or knows of a company that makes this mold let me know.

Thanks..

My Lee 6 cav 124gr TC mould casts at .357. One of those might work for you

Either of the top 2 would suffice. Good guy to deal with and he is a caster and actually uses his own products until he is very happy ........................he doesn't just churn them out, he plays with each design until he and several other testers are happy.

My Lyman 356402 fits the bill, but you can't have it...

Thanks to everyone that has responded... I was just wondering if there was ANY .357-.358 mold made like I was looking for.. Guess not, will have to take my chances with the .356 and see how it goes..

thanks again

Most .356 moulds drop bullets between .358 & .359 depending on alloy. I'd be more concerned about the crimp groove, or lack thereof if casting for a .357. Lightweight cast bullets don't always perform so well in magnums.

I think the 35893 is pretty slick, the hivelpen bullet is a dandy

These will be shot at very low to medium velocity 750-800 fps.
Gona be used in Cowboy Action Shooting..

I concur with Heavy Metal (again), try the 125 RN from Lee. It begs to be used in cowboy action shooting, besides shooting well, it looks the part. Lee lists this as a 356 diam. Boolit, but sized at that diameter you end up displacing quite a bit of metal and you getting the "sized too small for a RN" effect, But at .358 this Boolit is a thing of beauty. If I had the batteries on the camera charged, I'd take a pic of one finished and loaded. But honestly, look no further.

mine's a 2 cavity and cast .360"

As for CAS, with their mouse fart loads, little or no crimp will be necessary. A Redding profile crimp die, or a small amount of roll crimp will work. Truncated cone profiles make loading really easy.

I also agree, this boolit should do every thing you want. Plus if you get it in a 6 cavity, you can cast a lot of boolits in a very short time.
