Was at a show a while back and found a .22 training rifle one one of the tables . Neat little bolt action with sights that even my weak eyes could see ok . Front sight was flat topped and the rear had a stationary sight marked 50 and two folding leaves marked 75 and 100 . It has a little "V" trough to drop the cartridge onto and the bolt stuff it into the chamber without a miss real smoothly .
Stock is european walnut and has the buttstock cutout for a sling like a 98K . The front band is on the side like the 98 as well . It's made by Heym and it's most likely the only time I'll be able to afford one of their products . Very nice blueing on all the metal and very well fitted .
Yes , it shoots as well as it looks , half a box of Remington "Golden" ammo and a box of English surplus .22's all grouped nicely at about twenty yards . This thing is nice enough , maybe I can retire this old off brand Mossberg I've been using [smilie=1:

That Blonde shure is a purty one!
