I picked up a 15" MGM Barrel in 25-284 winchester for my Encore?
From what I could find out it can be loaded with 25-06 data is this
correct? Thanks Jeff

Jeff, at one time I had a 25-284, and I was told you could use 25-06 data. I actually had a page from a long-ago Sierra manual for this wildcat, though it has long since fallen out of favor. Looks like using it in an Encore wouldn't be ideal, with the rebated rim and all, but maybe it would work OK. Good luck with it, my Remington 700 in this caliber shot pretty good and I killed a nice doe with it one year back in the '90's.

For a 6mm-06 that I had, I use a combination of 6mm-284 and .240 Weatherby data, started low after weighing water from water filled .240 and .284 cases. The inside volume of the three was astounding, but I still started low and it worked fine.
I think that I have a old Hornady manual with the 25-284 in it. I'll have to check tomorrow night and post back. If not, I've got a Barnes manual, and I'm sure that has data for it. I know it does the 6.5-284.

Speer #9 reloading manual has the 25/284 reloading charts in it if you need it.
