I'm wanting one that will act like a hollow point, and be around 200-230 grains.

I'm needing a hollow point design, just one that simulates shooting them.

I would also like it to be TL.

Hi Lefty,
I don't know exactly what you're looking for but I have used this mold for years in the six cavity mold. It also comes in the 2 cavity but the 6 is more stout and of course quicker. This is a copy of the old H&G#68 and I'll stick my neck out and say it is the most popular and accurate cast bullet in the .45 acp. I use it in an H&K USP and a 1911 and have not found any pistol that dosen't like it. If you decide to go this way remember that this bullet will have to be taper crimped for reliable feeding!

Lee no longer makes hollow point molds. I can't tell from your post if that is what you need or not but the 190 grain never grouped as well as the rcbs 201, in my guns. Gianni.

I was surprised when I first heard that Lee quit making the hollow point moulds. I have a couple of them, and they are quicker and easier to use than others I have tried.

If I read right he wants TL design. This leaves the 200 grain SWC. I use it, it works, but not as well as a 462460. (H&G copy).

Well, it looks like I'm goign to be lookin going to be looking into that one with all the praise it is getting.

No, I don't want an actual hollow point, just a bullet that simulates one for feeding and such.

I have a factory crimp die from LEE. Can I use it instead of a taper crimp?
