Don't know who came up with that idea of po;ishing out the mold cavities with an abrasive coated bullet but thank you! Did my Lee 105 SWC 6 cavity and it has never put out the quality bullets it does now and they just fall out of the mold when it is opened. Absolutely amazing.

Yep Lee should put the Leementing instructions and some suitable abrasive in with their kit moulds.

Yes. Not only can it remove burrs to allow easier release, but size can be increased if desired. IIRC, by the time its gone from blue to white, you've removed .0005", thats one half thousandth. Its possible to take an out of round mould and make it round, albeit larger, but can also go out of round if you're not careful.

Yes, but then the price would double. You can have cheap, you can have quality finish but you can't have cheap AND quality finish.

I tried the Kroil treatment on my mould cavities and had GREAT success there too. Didn't even have to cast any wrinkled bullets.

Kroil is easier
I tried their mold release and now like it It does color the Lee molds but seems to last longer on the 6 banger
