Thanks guys. I can only speak for myself & have often wondered how different bullets compare on the business end. The bullets on each end are from my original Dry Creek moulds but the center bullet is a new [used] mould for us purchased from a board member whom I can't recall. It was purchased months ago & thought it might be pitted in the cavities but after soap & hot water it makes a fair bullet of appox. .431 diameter from standard air cooled wheel weights.

Ok Creeker but which is the more accurate of the three? I don't mean in a test of several firearms but is one or two that you use alot....Wes

The Ballisti Cast #1101 is a fair 45 bullet in my Rugers. It weighs 255-265 depending on alloy. It's not the bullet the SAA 45-270 is but close. When we were supplying the writers John Taffin took the BC as a favorite.

The L429667 I haven't fired so can't really say. The 429421 will be a hard bullet to beat though. My ole 4" M29 will put them in a 16" covert pipe at 300 yards most anytime if Creeker does his part.

I've only owned three 44 Mags in my lifetime but all shot this bullet better than the RCBS Keith. My first 4" M29 I shot for 8 years & used one load 99.9% of the time. A Keith over 21 grs. of 2400 & WLP primers. This was a tack driver @ 1201 FPS average.

I do however look for good things from the 429667. Time will tell once I get a few 1000 .223s processed, several thousand 38s loaded & 'bout a 150 pounds of Keiths sized. Maybe then I'll be ready to try a new bullet. Did I mention people are already asking for firewood? HEE HEE
