.40 S&W brass

Is there anything that can be done with these cut off pieces of .40 S&W brass? I was thinking driving bands. What some of your thoughts?22749

I'm wondering why anyone would cut down an already too short case?

I cut them and use the base of the case to swage and case my .312 cast ak47 boolits up to .451 for my 45 acp.

I seen a tutorial on that proccess, very interesting.
I sometimes look at waste and try to figure what to do with it also. Keep thinking and an idea may just come to you.

If you had enough to make it worth your while you could make a die that would roll the base over and you could make a decent half jacket out of them.

Personally I would try and figure out a way to swage them without the trimming
