I was at my favorite gun shop and this hopped out of the rack and tried to crawl into my shirt. It looked at me such big hopeful eyes I could not leave it behind.

It is a 1969 model 94. New Haven, conn, no safety. looks 98% on blue and stock finish. I have already started casting for it. (30-30).

Nice find while some folks bash the post 64 models I do not see anything wrong with them. Mine is smooth and a 1964 vintage.

Why would you want a magnum when you can have a 30-30...?

i bought one like that year's ago for a $100, nice rifle but i could'nt ever find the right combo to make it accurate enough for me. so i sold it to a friend of a friend turns out it was accurate enough for him, he shot a man with it. grave yard dead. but anyway you did good on you'r new toy.you'll love it ,wish i'd keep mine.
