Ive had Dillon reps offer to send anything and everything to fix the problem; but I also had 1 guy tell me 'you need to fix that yourself. 'I had one of the toggle arms on my 550 freeze up and lock the press up.This rep told me to remove the part (toggle arm ) and smooth the inside of the opening w/sandpaper;then sand the pin that goes inside. This did work but I needed to redo that fix 2 mo later. I called Dillon and a different rep sent me new parts.

Heck! I bought a badly damaged 550B from a widow and sent it in to them to have it repaired. I expected to pay a good buck for the repairs on the second hand machine. A couple of weeks later, it showed up repaired with upgraded parts and no charge! And I even told them that I was not the original purchaser. They told me that it didn't matter. That is their no BS guarantee.

i have 3 dillons and i wont ever sell them.thay will go to some one when i pass on.and i have never had one prob with them.good tools make good boolits i keep mine clean and i load a lot on them like 10.000 in a year on the sd and on the 550b a lot more. sd i load 45 and 357 and 40 and 9mm i have 2 of them and one 550bi have had the 550 for 7 years and the sd one i have had for 4 years the other one i have had it 3 years.
