For smelting, I am looking at making a bottom pour pot, in the 16-20qt range. I am looking at the "T" handle set up that plugs the hole. Not sure what it is called.
I am looking at using brass fittings, will there be an issue with heat or should I use cast iron. Heat source is a turkey/fish frier.

May have to take you up on that. Not so much for the pot but to meet a local caster and take you up on your invite to check out your setup.
Off from work today and tommorow (Tues/Wed).
