I have been casting bullets over the years but only shooting them 'as cast' for plinking more than anything.

Now that I'm getting into this more seriously, I want to start seating gas checks and possibly look at resizing as needed. Since we need 'oversize' diameters for the .44's, such as the RD mold and the FAT 44 mold, how do you recommend seating gas checks without losing the extra diameter? Also, if the diameter is 'too' large for a certain firearm, but the firearm is larger than 'normal' what do you recommend for obtaining the correct sizing die (which manufacturers have a variety of diameters or who can custom make them?)

Thanks for any/all input!

Buffalo Arms has about seven pages of custom sizing dies, and can get others...if you would rather buy retail than order from Buckshot.
