Well, I did it.
Friday I ordered a Star. Last night ordered a sizer die and punch from Latheman. Today ordered some miscellaneous stuff from midway.
I know the mail man will tease me by bringing one box every other day until all is here, however looking forward to getting new toys.

Good for you :drinks:
He will and the law of casting will make sure the piece you want to arrive first will be the last one to show up at the house.

My Star took about 6 weeks if not a little longer. I got it about 4 months ago I think.

I am in the market myself. Hopefully I can find a good used one.
I have looked at the Magma website , but not a lot of info on accessories.
Does a sizer of your preference come with a new unit from Magma?

The dies are extra, trust me they will make every effort to make the up sale. I ordered my die for the .45 from Latheman here on the site.
He gets good reviews and am looking forward to a review of his work.
Send Latheman a message he will probably get back to you within the day.

Picked up a used star at a gun show. Just put in on the bench the other night. Couldn't get it to work like I had hoped and was worried about losing my man card by reading the directions:)
Turns out the .311 die only had one row of holes and I needed two, after reading the directions. Figured that it was the dies fault, not mine so I got to keep my "man card":) :)
Already been in touch with Lathesmith

I've had a Star for a while now. They are nice. I buy my dies from Lathesmith. He does first class work.

Got my Size Die today from Latheman.
Looks great, machining is top notch.
If it cools down to about 85 this evening I will go put it to use.
Thanks.

Note the extremely good surface finish that latheman puts on the interior, too.

Lathesmith does excellent work, if you do have a problem it gets fixed pronto! I like having four holes around the die per row, that helps large dia. boolits fill the large lube groove easier.

I placed my order a week and a half ago.
Good news: They called and said it could be shipped today...
Bad news: They were out of the blue colored lube (reason why they called!)
Good news: They said they would ship by the end of the day if they could substitute the blue lube for either red or green. I said ship the red and don't look back!![smilie=2:
So far I am very pleased with their customer service and treatment!
